This is a recent press release for Tour Player:-
The latest sporting reality show, Tour Player International, gives golfers from across the world the opportunity to become a Professional Tour Player. The series is calling on any male with a handicap 4.5 or lower and any female that has handicap of 7 or lower to register, professional golfers are welcome, however must meet the criteria before they can be considered for selection. Tour Player will be produced at one of the world’s elite training facilities, the venue will be announced 31st October 2009. 24 players (12 male and 12 females) from an international pool will be selected by a panel of high performance coaches and members of the Tour Player Committee. These players will be requested to commit to a gruelling and intensive 12 week training program that will ultimately prepare them for life as a Professional Tour Player. The training will be an extensive test of the player’s technical, physical and mental ability. The 12 week intensive programme will show the viewer the dedication and hard work required to succeed in sport and golf. The programme will show through the series the highs and lows of training and competing for performance and the skills required to deal with success and failure Of the 24, one male and one female will be crowned 2010 Tour Player of Year.
